These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for the use of the online store “ARCANIA” operated by footstand (ARCANIA) (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Shop”) and for the purchase of products through our website at https://arcania-official.com/ (the “Site”).

Article 1. Scope

These Terms apply to all relationships between you and the Shop relating to your use of the Site and purchase of products.

Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, and any other policies posted on the Site form part of these Terms.

If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any individual policy posted on the Site, the relevant individual policy will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.

Article 2. Agreement to These Terms

By purchasing a product through the Site or registering an account, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

If you are a minor, you may use the Site and purchase products only with the consent of your parent, guardian, or other legal representative.

Article 3. Accounts

You may register an account using the method specified by the Shop.

You are responsible for ensuring that your registered information is accurate and up to date.

You are responsible for managing your login credentials. The Shop is not responsible for unauthorized use of your account by a third party, except where required by applicable law.

If you violate these Terms or if the Shop otherwise determines it necessary, we may suspend or delete your account without prior notice.

You may request deletion of your account at any time using the method specified by the Shop.

Article 4. Orders and Formation of Contract

If you wish to purchase a product, you must place an order using the method specified by the Shop.

A sales contract is formed when the Shop accepts your order and sends an order confirmation notice.

The Shop may refuse an order or cancel a contract after it has been formed in the following cases:

  • The product is out of stock;
  • There is an error or deficiency in the order details;
  • There is an obvious error in the displayed price, inventory status, or product information;
  • You have previously violated these Terms;
  • The order appears to be fraudulent, unauthorized, or otherwise inappropriate;
  • The Shop otherwise determines that the transaction is not appropriate.

Article 5. Prices and Payment

Product prices are displayed on each product page in the currency shown on the Site or at checkout.

Applicable taxes, shipping fees, duties, import fees, and other charges, if any, will be displayed on the Site, at checkout, or in the relevant policies.

For orders shipped to the United States, applicable duties and import fees are included in the product price and/or shipping fee as described in our Shipping Policy. You will not be charged additional import fees upon delivery for U.S. orders.

Available payment methods include credit card payments and other payment methods supported by Shopify Payments.

The timing of payment will be as described in our Legal Notice and according to the terms of each payment service.

Article 6. Shipping

Shipping of products is governed by the Shipping Policy posted on the Site.

Delivery times shown on the Site are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be delayed due to customs procedures, carrier circumstances, weather, transportation delays, security inspections, or other circumstances beyond our control.

If we are unable to ship your order within the stated processing time, we will contact you by email with an updated shipping estimate. If you do not agree to the delay, we will cancel the unshipped order and issue a refund.

Article 7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by the Refund Policy posted on the Site.

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience, including reasons such as a difference from the expected image, an incorrect order, or a change of mind.

Article 8. Products and Product Characteristics

ARCANIA products use natural solid wood. Wood grain, color, tone, and texture may vary from item to item. These variations are characteristics of natural materials and do not constitute defects.

Engraving details, LED light color, brightness, and other product details may vary slightly due to manufacturing characteristics.

Product images shown on the Site may appear different from the actual product depending on your device, monitor settings, lighting environment, or other viewing conditions.

Trading cards, graded slabs, or other display items shown in product images are for illustrative purposes only and are not included with the product unless expressly stated on the product page.

The product is intended for indoor display use. Please do not expose it to water, excessive heat, strong impact, modification, or use outside the intended purpose. Issues caused by improper handling, modification, customer-provided power sources or cables, or other customer-side causes may not be covered by our return or exchange policy.

Returns or exchanges based on the characteristics described in this Article will be treated as returns or exchanges due to customer convenience and will not be accepted.

Article 9. Compatibility

Product compatibility, including compatibility with graded card cases or other accessories, is as described on each product page.

Unless expressly stated, compatibility with all third-party cases, slabs, accessories, or card formats is not guaranteed.

Article 10. User-Submitted Content

If you submit photos, text, comments, reviews, stories, or other content to the Shop, including for use in the Vault of ARCANIA or related features, you represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit such content.

By submitting content to the Shop, you grant the Shop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, translate, display, publish, and distribute the submitted content on the Site, social media, email, advertisements, printed materials, and other marketing or promotional materials related to ARCANIA.

We may refuse to publish, edit, or remove submitted content at our discretion.

If you wish to request removal of submitted content, please contact us at info@arcania-official.com. We will make reasonable efforts to respond to such requests, but we may not be able to remove content that has already been used in printed materials, archived materials, or third-party media.

Article 11. Intellectual Property Rights

Copyrights, trademarks, design rights, and other intellectual property rights relating to the Site and products belong to the Shop or their rightful owners.

You may not reproduce, repost, modify, distribute, or commercially use the Site content, product designs, logos, product images, text, or other materials without prior permission from the Shop.

All third-party names, trademarks, card names, game names, grading company names, and related marks mentioned or shown on the Site belong to their respective owners. ARCANIA is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any third-party card game publisher, grading company, or rights holder unless expressly stated.

Article 12. Prohibited Acts

When using the Site, you must not engage in any of the following acts:

  • Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals;
  • Acts that infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of the Shop or any third party;
  • Registering false information or purchasing products by fraudulent or unauthorized means;
  • Reselling products in a manner that the Shop determines to be inappropriate, fraudulent, or harmful to the ARCANIA brand;
  • Interfering with the operation of the Site, unauthorized access, or similar acts;
  • Using the Site for unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or harmful purposes;
  • Any other act that the Shop determines to be inappropriate.

Article 13. Disclaimer

The Shop makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the content and product information on the Site, but does not guarantee that all information is always accurate, complete, current, or error-free.

The Shop may suspend or discontinue the Site without prior notice due to system maintenance, communication failures, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances. The Shop is not responsible for damages arising from such suspension or discontinuation, except where required by applicable law.

The Shop is not responsible for disputes between you and any third party arising in connection with your use of the Site or products, except where required by applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the products and the Site are provided without warranties other than those expressly stated on the Site or required by law.

Article 14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, if the Shop is liable to you for damages, the Shop’s liability will be limited to the purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.

The limitation above does not apply where the Shop has acted intentionally or with gross negligence, or where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Article 15. Changes to These Terms

The Shop may change these Terms when it determines that a change is necessary.

The revised Terms will take effect when posted on the Site, unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of the Site after the revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If any dispute arises in connection with the use of the Site or purchase of products, the Tokyo District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
